Looking for a 40 something male using a black propeller driven paraglider out of Saratoga Springs. Have not heard what he did yet. They have everybody and their brother looking for him west of that area, 5 Mile Pass, Solider Pass, several other areas. Using TV Channel 5 Chopper to help look for the guys.

Well you can read the rest in the news but he ended up landing in the Ranches sub-division and then killed himself. He was 10-85E when they got there.

I saw a paraglider flying late yesterday afternoon as I was out working on the car, then heard the ATL. Didn't think much of it for paragliding is quite common out here in the West Desert. The crash happened out by the old Tri-City Golf Course in American Fork not The Ranches in Eagle Mountain as was reported by some media outlets. The victim, a former EM city council member and mayoral candidate, lived near The Ranches and this is where it originated not where it ended up! The media needs to get their facts straight but then again most everything regarding Eagle Mountain get blown WAY out of proportion. Now because of this individuals past involvment with the city I expect more of it.
