Hi everyone, I'm going to be driving through UT next week from California. I want to listen to the UHP on my RS Pro106.

I read something about rebanding, but that seems to be 2008 stuff. It's now 2012. Can I just go to the UHP frequencies and program them into my pro106? or is there something special I have to do with my scanner? Or do I need to recalculate something?

Note: I bought my scanner in 2009. I have not performed any firmware or software updates to it.

Thanks for your help.

Will you be entering the state on I-70 or I-80? Heading for nor cal on I-80, or so cal in I-15?

UHP uses the UCAN network where it has coverage, and VHF conventional where it does not.
UCAN is completely rebanded, so you will need to familiarize yourself with the process of entering a custom bandplan.
