Where do I have to look for Utility frequencies? I have looked in a couple of counties in NY and there does not seem to be any listings for Utilities. Looking for Electric Co and Tel Co etc...

Thanks, I got some info from NF2G. I am in Columbia County near Albany. The NYSEG freq here is 48.26, I was a lineman there for 38 years, now retired...

If you don't hear the activity you expect on that frequency, let me know. NYSEG in most areas has moved to APCO25 repeaters in the 160-161 mhz range. (inputs in the 153 mhz range)

Utility freqs

Stan, Not sure where you are, but some for National Grid are 153.680,153.445.These are for the line trucks. 153.515 is the service trucks.

I checked Columbia and surrounding counties in the FCC database and the only thing I see licensed there are low band frequencies. They're listed below.

In the southern tier, Tioga, Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Chemung, Steuben, & Tompkins counties they moved to P25 a few years ago. When I no longer heard them on the Low VHF frequencies I created a file for the BCD396T that contained all of the frequencies assigned to NYSEG in the entire state. That's how I located them. I'll attach that usd file and I also extracted just the frequencies to a text file. That should spare other's all of the searching.
