We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Folks,

This morning I noted some P25 communications on 158.850 which lines up with Uvalde County SO Dispatch, close to san Antonio.

Anyone have any confirmation that Uvalde County went P25?

I'm also getting 158.7975 in DES/OFB P25 here in San Antonio as well. This is licensed to the Atascosa County Fire Department, however that seems unlikely. Maybe Lavaca County SO?

I'm receiving Atascosa FD on 153.9500. That could be a Jourdanton city freq. I'll plug some of the unid freq in and see what I can hear. Unless they've changed, Lavaca Co. SO was using 154.860 Analog. Incidentally, that is one very quiet county. Very little to be heard there.
