UWM New System

I noticed today in the database that UWM has a new Kenwood Nextedge digital system now listed. Does anyone have any info on this new system? This is an upgrade from their old Kenwood analog LTR. Does anyone know what the Ran number is for programming this system? Thanks.

I was up there for graduation weekend back in May. Madison Digital site is Ran1.
Did not try to monitor analog Ltr.

I tried using Ran 1 and I’m not hearing anything. Do I need to just program the control frequencies only and do I need to set up the frequencies in a particular order? I’m using a Uniden 996 series scanner that is set up with the software to receive Kenwood Nextedge systems. This system is for UW-Milwaukee. Thanks.

Start as new system. nxdn trunking.
Enter all freqs as site 1. Enter new dept as xzy. Enter a talkgroup as a start, like 999 test. (you can lockout later, or delete)
Under system options, ID search. set that to ON.

Or try just entering them in a conventional dept, And see if you can hear anything?
If the license is new, it might take 6 months or more for the system to be built and tested.
