I have a question regarding the V-scanner folders in the PSR-500. I am using the ARC500 software, and it has the option to load the main memory into a V-scanner folder, but i can't seem to get it to load the file into the folder. I don't know if there's something i'm missing in the instructions regarding the process...

From what i understand so far, the V-scanner folders allow you to store the main memory programming to a folder, freeing up the main memory to program a set of frequencies for another are, state, etc.

Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

I do my programming by hand but, the main V-Folder-"00" has the same programming even after you save it to another V-Folder and re-load it until you change its programming or reload another V-Folder to "00" and change it that way....

sparks40 did you do this first?.....
From the ARC500 help....
Converting files to V-scanner format:
Before a gr5 file can be uploaded into a V-scanner folder it must be converted into V-scanner format:
Open the gr5 file in the main editor. Now select File _ Save As and change the file type to V-scanner format . This saves the file in vsc format.
