Is there a reason for grouping all divisions together?? It was easier to sort with the divisions seperated!

I would assume it's because all VSP Divisions now use the STARS radio system, and the VHF legacy channels are used as backup, but that could be pure speculation on my part.

The police divisions were grouped together by division number, Division 1, Division 2 , ect... Now all divisions are grouped together.. I personally liked it better when they were seperated by division!

Its been about a month since this change was made. No one has fixed it and no one has commented.

My .02 is that having talkgroup categories by agency is a good thing, however any of the talkgroup categories that are segmented by regions should be further broken out. For example, VSP would be broken out into at least 7 levels and DGIF would be broken up into 5, etc.

Since the databse allows you to add a lat/long/range to a talkgroup subcategory (and scanners can use this information) it would be approprate to sort and geotag them correctly.
