I would just like to let you know that I have found these additional frequencies that Valley Com is now using. I programmed these in along with the data channel 853.425 and my PRO 2250 is scanning just fine.

Use the frequencies listed for Valley Com listed under Seattle-King County Public Safety. No need to put in any freq above 857.0875.

851.5375 851.6375 852.1625 852.2125 852.2875 852.4125 852.8375 855.4375 855.5875 856.6875. 856.7625 857.0875

I hope this helps some people!

Add those to what is listed in the database, or enter just the frequencies you listed?

Yes add these to what is listed. No need to add what is listed above 857.

Well tried adding those frequencies but am getting nothing from the Valley Com on my BCD996XT, just dead air. Tried dropping and re-adding with fresh import insuring these new freq included still nothing.

Snohomish, Skagit and Island counties working fine

Did you also input the custom tables for ValleyCom and Seattle simulcast? They have rebanded, the control channel for these systems is 853.4250. On my scanner I just use the CC, not all the frequencies.

What scanner do you have? I can't find anything for 2250. There's a PRO-2050 model which is the base version of my Pro-90 handheld scanner.

This scanner does NOT support rebanding and thus will not track accordingly.

Newer scanners only need the control channel and its alternates.

All, I have an HP II and in order to hear VallyCom again I had to enter the new custom bandplan. They obviously rebanded, but the database hear doesn't reflect that.

Thanks to whoever posted the bandplan tables here.

David,

Is the bandplan the same for both systems?

Thanks.

Yes it is. I believe I had to add 853.4250 Control Channel because it was not in RR database for the Seattle simulcast/Valley Com. I believe the RR database needs to be updated with all the rebanding info, afaik they have not.

So as of this morning 10/21/15 it looks like Valley Com (King County/Valley Com Simulcast) is using 851.8125 for their control data channel.

Knowing that you should put in the main control channel AND the alternates because they change from time to time IS helpful. Much more helpful than your comment.

N E W S F L A S H ! ! !

Control channels rotate. That's why they have alternates.

Thank you DickH and FFSOD7189 for the comment. I was just clarifying my previous post about the CC so I wouldn't look stoopid like some other people posting on this site.
