This past winter, as purely an impulse buy, I picked up a used (albeit unopened) Valor 651B scanner antenna for $10 at Universal. It features a short (probably 20") rubber antenna that looks like a shortened version of a CB antenna you'd see on a big rig. It came with a stainless steel magnet mount with at 3/8" screw hole for the antenna and a Motorola antenna plug (remember those?). Claims receive from 30-1200 mHz. Just wondering if anybody used this antenna and how well it performed through the bands. I would need a Motorola to BNC adapter to use with anything I have.

As I said, I would need a Motorola-to-BNC adapter to use with any of my scanners or HTs. The end of the cable from the magnet mount has a Motorola plug.
