Vancouver police

I have successfully rebanded my 246t, registered at Radio Reference and downloaded the Clark County Emergency Services frequency package. I hear everything but Vancouver Pollice. I have yet to hear a peep on any Vancouver police frequencies. I know I'm probably doing something wrong and would like help figuring it out. Oh for the days of by BC-210 and simple repeaters and simplex. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Are you hearing other traffic? Control 3 is talkgroup 44720 and is usually very busy.

I feel really dumb. I do hear lots on control 3 but thought it was only sheriff traffic. Does Vancouver ever identify itself in any recognizable way?

Yes, VPD identifies with the prefix 2. Sheriff is 1, Camas is 3, Washougal is 4, Battle Ground is 5, Ridgefield is 6, La Center is 7, WSU is 20, and BNSF is 21. There's a few more but those are the major users.
Control 1 is 44656 everyone but Sheriff and VPD from 3pm to 3am
Control 2 is Sheriff 24/7 and everyone else besides VPD from 3am to 3pm
Control 3 is VPD
