With all the information about the Crest System in Victoria what is the story with the Police Depts? Are they digital and no one has a digital radio? I see the VHF 155.55 and know that it was in use two years ago when I was there.

How about Vancouver? Is EVERYTHING PROVOICE EDACS?

Definately Vancouver is a no go Digital EDACS Provoice, as well as Victoria all Digital Mot T2 3600 Baud APCO-25, just bring your Digital capable scanner. look up RR database here and you will see all freq's for CREST radiosystem, If you in Victoria you can program in the lower Island site's Camosak (downtown Victoria) & Mt. Helmcken , Mt.Douglas & Mt.Mcdonald, they seem to be having a lot of difficulty getting it to work properly so you can still here them on VHF conventional. Check out other sites for more detail ...
