Vanishing posts

I don't know about others, but I know approximately how many posts I have when I leave this site for the night.
When I log in the next day and go to review "find all posts by mciupa" to catch up on the topics I find that the post total has dropped by one when I read the post total.

For the life of me, I can't recall if I had partaken in a questionable discussion , or why this may have occured.
I realize the moderators can remove things at their discretion.

Before I read this response, my thought was that a previous banned member had logged in under a new user name and the post was removed .

You guys are pretty good at swatting spammers.
