Various EDACS Control Channel recordings

Just curious to see if anybody had any extended EDACS control channel recordings they could provide for the following:

Assuming of course, that these systems are still active to some degree.

I'm currently in the middle of testing some software I'm developing, and would really like to acquire some extended control channel audio to parse through the software to test its capability. So far, its working great with SLERS, but I'd still like to know how well it'll function with non ESK-EA variants of EDACS.

If anybody would like to help contribute, I would take anything you could throw at me to be honest, but preferably a good high quality multi minute sound sample in a lossless or mostly lossless format such as wav/flac/ogg or even mp3 might be okay as long as its not too compressed, and let me know what system its from. Also, try to submit samples when the system has activity so I can read any possible talkgroups and radios and so on. Dead air control channels don't do too much for me, but still would be better than nothing at all if the system doesn't stay particularly busy.

Please don't submit SLERS, I've got that one covered.

Now I'm off to go solicit other state forums with high concentration of EDACS

Is Hillsborough down entirely? I saw people in the Hillsborough thread as late as June and July mentioning the EDACS system still operational to some capacity and still picking up Fire on there.

Hillsborough County EDACS is very much alive with Tampa PD/FD and Hillsborough SO/FD still operating on it exclusively. Only the smaller agencies have migrated to P25 so far.

Pasco County EDACS is also still operational with FD automated dispatch and public works type activity.

I don't have recording capability set up currently.

No worries, I suspect most people with scanners alone won't be able to help unless they have a discriminator tap and have it fed into their computers, but even then, I'm not sure if the recording would work correctly. I need people with SDR software to essentially drop a VFO on the frequency and hit the record button and then upload it to one of those file hosting sites, and I'm not entirely sure how many people here are capable or willing to do that either

I was just going to ask if you needed Discrim audio or not.
But I can do it from the SDR. Just an audio recording or an IQ recording?
Let me see if I can figure it out, never done either with the SDR.

If its coming out of a scanner, I'm pretty sure it has to be discriminator output, but if you do it from an SDR application, a wav would work just fine. I've never actually tried to play back an IQ recording before, so not quite sure how that would work, so just as a wav or audio file would be best. Thanks.

Pasco EDACS also houses school buses.

I unfortunately have no way to currently grab Hillsborough's EDACS audio atm. Not sure if the SDS100 could do it, and my Whistler TRX-1 feeds the HART bus feed to Broadcastify.

Oh, its no big deal if you can't get anything, I'm not in a big hurry or anything to get samples. I wouldn't ask anybody to move or change their entire set up a county or two over just to get some audio.

Can you record the control channel audio, maybe a 5 minute snippet? Using SDR++ or a discriminator tap on a scanner at 48 Khz?

Sounds good to me, if you would kindly visit this link for how I need my wav files, that would be splendid. I've been finding that wav files recorded using SDR# extensions aren't the proper sample rate and don't work.

On the new P25 system it says Plant City is phase 1 is this correct? I’m unable and pick anything up on the XTS5000.

Here you go. Attached are recordings of control channel signals for the Hillsborough EDACS sites (east and west) and the Pasco EDACS system. If you need more than 10 seconds per recording, let me know.
