When giving jumpsarts with a car hook up with two way radios does thsi ahev any neagtive impact on the car radios.

More of a informational gathering thing then anything else.

if the radio(s) are off there should be no effect. I've jumpstarted plenty of vehicles with my van, and have had to jumpstart my van (have since programed auto off on my rigs) and have never hurt a radio.

I though about

I thought about that too, but depending on the setup that not always practical. For the one vehicle in the fleet it will work that way. However not the case for the other vehicle thats rack mounted. The rack for me is no longer practical at this moment and will be replaced out when I get a new car. To a bend mount like my other buddy has where each radio is indepent of one another so that you can plug and play when need be.

You learn and live for what makes more sense as you go along
