Hello. I am new and would like to purchase a police scanner to listen to Franklin City Police department. My Street always has police on it and I would like to know what is going on.

Can someone direct to me to the type of scanner I would need that is readily available?

For now, they look to still be on Conventional NFM VHF-Hi / UHF frequencies. Any current scanner will handle your monitoring at this time period.
