Vertex Vx-500 Programming

I have some Vertex VX-500 Ver A radios (136-150mhz). I am have a tech license and want to program these to 2 meter repeaters. Has anyone programmed these radios before for 2 meter use ? I can program in channels to monitor, but the program seems to require a CTCSS encode and decode. I just want the encode. Anyone familiar with these please help.

hopefully someone can help you, but this is probably best placed in the scanner/radio model's section / all others, however i doubt the all others section is visited much, i've been in it twice in 2 years! heh
