It's a magical moment when all seven NOAA channels are jam packed with competing broadcasts.

You know VHF is hot for DX when the MUF is above 162 MHx!

That's how I felt back in Houston, with one reliable station, and two marginal. SW of Dallas, I get three full quieting, two about s-9 and the other two channels come alive with just the beginnings of tropo enhancement.

Not often, but I catch a little 2 meter signals out of North Ca and Utah, over 200 miles.
