VHF High Tropo in NJ (07/26/07)

Getting some massive VHF High tropo now. Hearing multiple weather stations steping over each other on multiple frequencies. I've logged stuff from New York to down in Maryland. I also caught an FBI repeater on 172.5750 MHz (PL 167.9 Hz). I have no clue where it's coming from, though.

yea a lot of stuff rollin in to nj today im listening to some correctional facility from the south (deep southern accent) on 45.420 they mentioned "appalachian" several times but i dont know what it means.
