We are picking up serious digital interference in the bowling green area. On
153.440- we are convinced that it is digital noise. We are getting reports from muhlenburg co. Area of the same "jackhammer" noise. Anyone have any thoughts?

Whoops! 153.4400 is a business/industrial frequency; I thought it was public safety. Contact the frequency coordinator who coordinated the use of 153.4400 and they should look into the interference.

Have been trying to get the interference you referenced on 153.440. Not hearing anything. I reside in Warren County. Not able to locate any licenses or FCC filings either. Will keep an ear on this. Where at in Bowling Green were you receiving this?

The Mototrbo system has my vote. Constant jackhammer noise seems to be what those things sound like, especially when the timings are set to disregard others on the channel.
