158.73 was a traffic stop and when I passed by the location I saw patrol vehicles that had someone pulled over, but I couldn't see who it was because I was SB 15 and they were NB 15 and it was 10:30pm. Any idea who it was?

That frequency is used by the Moapa Band of Paiutes Tribal Police.

VHF vs. SNACC

So do they not use SNACC? The database shows they have 4 talk groups

They do have the ability to use the SNACC system and have several talk groups but I think the SNACC operations are conducted within a very close proximity to Las Vegas, but the location, Moapa, is a far distance to the northeast. There are at least three Indian reservation properties that I can remember for that tribe in Southern Nevada and two are very close to LV and you will most likely hear them talking on SNACC there but probably not in Moapa.
