As an addendum, in the same 24 hour period as the above, I was also receiving Spanish language transmissions in the Fed band. I know the language but could only get bits and pieces because of fading, but it seems it was coming from Mexico. This means that the propagation was "sporadic E" rather than just tropospheric ducting. E-layer skip can come from much farther away. Something to look for around noon local time.

What kind of antenna are you using and how high up is it? It seems you are always bringing in some good stuff.
