Just heard VIA #2 call and receive permission to proceed based on CN Constable permission..a large number of freights working through. Car vs. train????

CN dispatcher on 160.6650
Police 161.4150mhz

Car vs. Train...guess who lost

Are you saying the two collided ? Where ? I didn't see anything on CP24.

Didn't get location but based on Comms it was a Car vs. Train somewhere near Toronto.

CN Police use MCS2000 mobiles and MT2000 portables, so they aren't APCO25 capable at all. They also use Bell Mobility "10-4" phones, which is what most of their comms are probably on.

The comms I heard were all analog on standard railway freq's. They mad reference to cell phones "to discuss details"
