Thanks for doing this. I am very happy with my R30. It won't replace a conventional scanner for monitoring public service frequencies but it's a great receiver.

I agree, the R30 certainly won't replace my trunking scanners; however, I'm very impressed with the overall performance over all bands. You know, if some company were to develop a receiver that is both a trunking scanner and a wideband receiver, I would jump on that in a heart beat. I would pay $1500 for such a receiver.
