Village of Brice PD?

Whats the deal with these guys? Are they back in service? Why? Also, who dispatches them? Frequency/system? I used to live that way and remembered how it was a speed trap with silly officers. Ive heard that they are back on patrol on their .5 mile street and Id love to listen, lol....

If you are reffering to Brice PD as in the village in eastern Franklin County, they are dispatched by the Franklin County Sheriffs Office. The talkgroup is 11248 on the FCCA Public Safety system (see the database). Also, you will hear many other departments besides Brice because this talkgroup is shared by around 4 different departments including the SO.

I am referring to the village in east franklin co. I looked and could not find any info on FCCA Public safety in franklin co. What does FCCA stand for?

I found the 11248 talk group and its east dispatch for the SO, now my question is does the Brice PD ID them selves as Brice? Or as a number/code?

Yes all of the units will identify with a unit number. Here is the countywide list, meaning some of these agencies you will not hear on that talkgroup (some are on the SO WEST talkgroup), but you will hear Brice...

T30 series - Sheriff's township contract cars (SW)
T40 series - Sheriff's township contract cars (SE)
200-229 - Clinton Twp
