the Hoosier state, baby.
I hope this is the right forum. I recently acquired this paper ad from a friend. This is from sometime around late 1997 for holiday deals. MSRP for this scanner back in the day was $299.99 USD.

Bringing back fond memories! If you like that, then you will LOVE this site that has almost every Rat Shack catalog (in its entirety) going back to 1939!

I love this kind of stuff and original poster, if you want to search on Google you will find multiple, multiple, multiple threads like yours that I have, as others, participated in, I was going to Radio Shack in the early 60s as a 10 or 11 year old with my dad, a ham, and I'm a follower of Radio Shack Non-Stop till it's demise, as we know it, not today, whatever that is..

I would never be able to tell you the number of scanners and other equipment, mostly made by GRE, I've bought from the original Radio Shack before it became..
Cell Phone Shack, you got questions, I sold women's shoes two doors down in the mall and don't know a thing about radios LOL, not to disparage all of the very experienced radio guys who worked at Radio Shack when being experienced was critical to picking the right tube, if you know what I mean.

Nice thread, one of many, many.😀
