i thought i did, that was just an approximation, not the exact or even the same vicinity.the reason i mentioned general area was to aid in TG identification,

I know a lot of people have kicked around the idea that it's federal but I'm thinking that it's a state agency. I'm thinking that it could be ALE just based on the transmissions that I am hearing but it easily could be someone else as well.

I know some people enjoy monitoring this way and trying to track down TGIDs, but I don't. I like to know what I am listening to. I may take a break from monitoring until more things are IDed.

i agree with your general identification, (fed).i was hoping someone might have id'd something in this range already to verify what i was listening to, but as my rule of thumb, i wasn't about to submit any guess of the tgid. only time i submit anything is when i hear someone refer to that tgid, as in 'all units go to tac 4' then i hear the same people on the tgid.

it has been some very interesting listening the past 4 hours though!

Meadows tower down

Just heard Newton tell all G-4 cars to switch all communications back to CH-1 low band because Meadows tower was struck with lightening.

One comm did give an intersection that is in Brunswick county (and it seems to correlate with the 5500 series of numbers that the Brunswick county ids have) but I am still in the process of identifying which agency it is. Anyone else in the area picked up this tgid? Want to be sure before submitting to the database.

Been hearing 5507 also. I think it either TAC 2 or TAC 4, or possibly patrol or spec ops. Hopefully over the week end I can figure it out.

Stokes SO Tac channels

From Rid of users 43005 and 43014 appear to be Tac channels for sheriffs office, but have not heard them id with channel names. Anyone else hearing can help id for submission to database?

Granville County

Hearing traffic from a 10-50PI near the Granville/Franklin county line. I just confirmed TGID 20013 is Granville County Mutual Aid and TGID 20016 is Granville County TAC 1. Also Franklin County's P25 system Tac 10 is patched to Granville County's VIPER TAC 10 but I have not confirmed the VIPER TGID for Granville County TAC 10.

Confirmed info has been submitted.

Heard some brief traffic on 52127 - it was an air unit talking to "P441" - IMAP TG?
