I found 2 more TGs thanks to the fireworks tonight.
Edenton PD is TG 11026 and Chowan County EMS is 11003
I submitted them for approval in the database

Glad to see no encryption thus far on the upgrade. Means I can monitor happily when I make a little trip to Asheville area in November. Will the whole upgrade be online by then?

Also they are referring to the channel as "Viper 1".

Just heard this same TG just a little while ago. Sounded like it was possibly Wildlife District 4. Heard them running a Boater Registration

On 60643, I heard a unit key up saying "Can you copy me on LE1?"

Took awhile but I was able to match up IMAP talkgroups from the 4.1 layout to the P25 layout. End result should be a totally accurate IMAP database listing.

Hate to break the bad news but I have heard encryption. The SHP Microwave techs takgroup is the only one thus far I have caught. But I'm sure other agencies have the capability to encrypt at the flip of a switch or touch of a button.

The talkgroup following the primary should be that districts "Common" channel.

Picked up on 3 TGs that were using encryption as of now. Have yet to identify them, but im pretty sure they are federal/surveillance.

If they start with 6 they were most likely Federal. DEA in most districts encrypt their traffic.

Thats what I've figured. If you listen long enough, sometimes there will be one or two out of the group without encryption.
