Hey Guys/Gals,
Staying in Corrolla Beach 4x4 this coming week, wanted to set my scanner up.
Saw a forum that spoke of the 800mhz for the county (last year post) and I am reviewing RR DB and saw the Viper system.
Any reasons to concern myself with Viper for down that way and if so....what "sites" should I download, there were a lot of them.

Currituck County is on P25 conventional, Sheriff encrypted, Fire is clear. On VIPER, the site I had the best luck was Barco, South Mills, and Kitty Hawk. mostly Marine Fisheries, Wildlife Resource Commission, Highway Patrol and Camden County Sheriff.
Ok thanks!! Sounds good. Mostly interested in fire/EMS. Just to keep my ears on while on vacation.

Are their or has their ever been a a radio tg for the Nc Medical examiners office
Came across new TGID on Viper today that I did not see in database.
TGID 52634, TGID and RIDs were in range of UNC Chapel Hill. Not enough traffic to identify usage.
Anyone have an idea who it is?

That looks to be in the UNC talkgroups for the college.

Set up UT to monitor the Plymouth site while Hermine was coming through. Caught some chatter on TG 52651 which sounded a little like forestry but I can't be sure. They were discussing mainland Dare County areas, specifically Manns Harbor and the Alligator River Bridge.
Looks like it would be in the correct area for a forestry talkgroup. Any ideas?

A good chance it is forestry because that is right between the forestry missing talkgroups
Maybe Urban Forest Strike Team? Had traffic that sounded like Region 2 Strike Team 2. Heard them talking about the pilots and fueling up.
Went back in my logs, didn't pick up any traffic, but show USMS radio IDs on that talkgroup history.
