I will see if i can change my display to find out first time to monitor them on this talk group they have told all units to use this talk group viper dispatch #1. will see if i can catch anything else.
What letter in front of the unit number? For instance, C730 is a Durham County Trooper. B730 is a Robeson County Trooper etc...

Talk Group #52691 active on Slocomb Tower not in data base as i could see,they ask for help stopping a vehicle, Troop B HP came on and IDed them as a SBI unit needing help
52691 falls in a group of talkgroups used by various law enforcement for a variety of operations including surveillance, I-95 interdiction, and local activities. It is common to hear a mix of state and locals on the TGs together. TGs monitored range from 526xx to 528xx.

Fort Bragg military police are now active on Viper Talk Group #61407 submitted. I have now monitored them on two viper talk groups that have not monitored before. They may have had these for a time but never used them. They may be using these while they upgrade their own system

I programmed a System to scan Northwest NC county traffic on VIPER when I am in that area. Woody's Knob is loud and clear in Rowan County! 90 Air Mile's away from me. Full scale on RSSI with stock antenna on BCD325P2. Obviously clear line-of-sight from there to me. I checked the control channel and did not find it assigned to any other sites. Also I am hearing Iredell County dispatch and other radios affiliated with Woody's Knob. Also saw some Alexander traffic. Is anyone else receiving Woody's Knob so far away, or in Rowan County? Am I missing something? I also get Locust Knob 1-2 bars. Also Iredell County Traffic. I have been receiving Pores Knob to get Wilkes county HP but it is 2 bars and not nearly as far away. All stock antenna at home.
Woodys Knob Ch 2 (alternate CC) is Salisbury Ch 1 (active control channel), check the site number displayed on your scanner and see if you're hearing the Salisbury site instead due to having both control channels programmed in for Woodys Knob.

Interesting. When I searched for the frequency it did not come up on Salisbury and I didn't recognize it. I'll double check the Site number. Pores Knob is 46 air miles away and I receive it well all the time, so I guess I was thinking it was possible to get Woody's knob being the elevation of it is over 4,000 feet.
