Does anyone know what virginia natural gas uses for their method of communication? I saw a couple of trucks with uhf antennas but I'm not able to find any fcc licenses.
Look them up under Atlanta Gas & Light or Southern Company Gas. What area?Does anyone know what virginia natural gas uses for their method of communication? I saw a couple of trucks with uhf antennas but I'm not able to find any fcc licenses.

My dad is QA for them, he said only specific trucks have them, that truck is probably something to do with transmission lines. But yes, they mostly use laptop and phones, they’re dispatched from Atlantathe guy down the street uses MDT and a push to talk phone
Were they on Ford Ranger pickups by chance? Because if they were they were probably meter readers, that antenna is used for picking up signals from Smart Meters and transmits data to the laptop in the truck. He did say they use radios for backup or if they power goes out but his exact words were “ nobody knows where them things are at”Does anyone know what virginia natural gas uses for their method of communication? They use them at the Chesapeake plant off Military highway, really not for day to day operations. That plant has something to do extracting or something to do with propane if I remember correctlyI might have found something for them, these frequencies could be used for operations at the two Chesapeake locations listed. ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional License - WQUT555 - ATLANTA GAS LIGHT CO
Good to know. Thanks! They use them at the Chesapeake plant off Military highway, really not for day to day operations. That plant has something to do extracting or something to do with propane if I remember correctly
