Are you asking what happened, or just if anyone heard it? I didn't hear it when it happened, but stumbled across it shortly after when additional units were enroute to the scene.
For those that don't . . .
A trooper was killed in the line of duty while making a traffic stop in Southampton County. He was in the process of talking to the driver of the car he pulled over when a car driven by an elderly man drifted toward them as it approached the scene. The trooper was struck directly.
