Virginia Statewide Agencies Radio System (STARS) state police

I noticed that I was no longer receiving any transmissions from state police. I found that there was an update listed for the virginia state police.

I have updated my scanners database and set if up for state police in my area but I still can not pick up any communications.

what am I doing wrong or is there something I need to do?

When you updated the database your settings probably changed. Check your "service types" to be sure your "law ...." service types are on. Check "set scan selection" and then "select lists to monitor to be sure "Stars" is on. If these do not shown a problem check the "location" and "range" settings. Good luck.
