Hi,

First off I want to say what a fine state Tennessee is, my wife and I love it. We are plannin on coming back in 2006 and I was wondering if there are any little out of the way places that might be worth stopping by. By wife and I are into fire & police station tours, waterfalls, parks, country music, and nice scenic places. Anybody have any ideas, please e-mail me thanks

If you're coming to Memphis, stop by the Memphis Fire Museum downtown at 118 Adams Street. www.firemuseum.com is the website. It's worth the trip. You can also shoot me a PM, and I can get you set up for a tour at a station if you wish.

There are a lot of scenic places around Chattanooga, and within an hour or so from Chattanooga, parks, falls, scenery, etc.

Also lets mention... The Great Smokey Mountias..... Check out the views from Knoxville, through Chatanooga, and all over through to WNC!

I enjoy heading south of the GSMNP to the Cherokee National Forest with its Bald River Falls and the Ocoee River, this is where the white water events were held during the Atlanta Olympics. Fall Creek Falls in Fall Creek Falls State Park is great too.
