Visiting the Connecticut Valley

Hi to all.
The family & I are planning a trip to the Springfield/Northhampton area next month.

I have been down that way before & someone on here did have ARC396 files but they were wipped when my computer crashed & I lost them.

Which towers would I be able to listen to on your state wide system?
Mount Tom, I remember was close to the area.
Is the information on this site valid for the Springfield/Holyoke, areas?

Also, we might go home thru Vermont, I would need some good files for that state as well.

Would anyone on here have any files for the above mentioned areas, I would be very grateful.

Mt Tom in Holyoke is the main site for that area. Watch the 42MHZ frequencies too, they get a lot of use in that area.

You may want to listen to Zone 7, Mt Greylock on the drive down.

I guess I will look at a patrol map to decide which talkgroups I should put in.

You want B-PTL-1, 2 and 3. They should be carried on both towers.
