Anyone hearing VLAW31 constantly broadcasting nothing but silence today? Started around 7am.

I heard it also. I blocked it out so I have no idea how long it went. Were you hearing the noise on EMS B that has been going on also?

I was aware of the prior issue with Hayward. You are closer than me to Hayward. Do you know for a fact it is them again?

VLAW31 still has an open mic on it. Hasn't stopped once all weekend.

Well, it either burned up or someone finally fixed the problem. It appears to be all quiet now.

Ah ha. That would make sense. I went from Ashland to Duluth, then up the North Shore Friday afternoon and could hear it most of the way. It varied from just breaking squelch to a much stronger/clearer signal at times so I couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from.
