VLF coax and termination/connector question

Greetings to one and all,

I am new to the world of VLF radio and have been approached to build an amplifier circuit.

The setup will involve a small loop round antennae with a 5[m] length of cable running to an amplifier, then, from the amplifier a 35[m] length of cable will run into a sound card.

My query is, what would be the best type of cable & connector to use?

It has been suggested, RG-58 with matching BNC's.

Could anyone enlighten me on the best possible choice?

Sounds good to me. At such low frequencies, loss isn't much of an issue so just use what's handy.
