Voice Descrambler software

Does anyone know how to make the Voice Descrambler software decode Voice Inversion from a recorded file? I can't get it to work. I can post a .wav file that is all voice inversion if you need me to. I can also tell you what Hz the Voice Inversion is on the file too.

burn it to a cd. Play it in a cd player with an audio output. Run the cd output to your line in (or mic, if no line in) on your soundcard and have fun.

The software only listens on the mic or line in inputs, not user defined.

I thought of that, but I was wondering if there was an easier way, I guess not, oh well.

you might be able to loop it back (through the speaker and mic jacks) of a second sound card.

Also, you can change them to .mp3 and upload them to a mp3 player, instead of burning the cds.

Can't really do this, I am running a laptop, and not much room for anything else. I wouldn't be able to get a second sound card in.

I run two computers for this. Play the audio into the other computer. It is a pain. I believe you can get to sound cards for a computer, as far as for a lap top I wonder if there is a card solution out there. Is this the program invert.exe? How do you now the "Hz" of the sound.

He might have inverted it, or looked at a chart...

you could buy the kit off ramsey electronics, ive got four of them and they work great. You can just use the RX side for scanner monitoring, or you can use the TX side also for transmitting. It just plugs in between your radio or scanner and your speaker/microphone.

It's not Invert.exe, I tried that software and it sucked. This is called IZ8BLY Voice Descrambler.

I run that software from a laptop myself. A simple soultion for real time descrambling is to purchase a sound blaster USB soundcard. They're about 30 bucks. Then with both soundcards installed and functioning, play with the Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel to set one sound card for recording and the other for play back.

You will still need to externally loop back the audio from one sound card to the other to descramble your recordings.

Dowmload winamp.

Run the scanner output to the line in of your soundcard and open the url line:// in winamp.

This will make it listen to the line in.

There is a plugin for winamp that can invert the audio its playing. I beleive it is built into one of the DSP's that come preloaded with it.

This may be the easy solution for you.

The winamp option won't work due to the fact that the inversion "effect" included in audio suites is a bit different than voice inversion used over the air.

Where might I be able to get a copy of this software? Is it freeware? I have had crappy results with this one but I can still make our what is being said. I still would like to know how you know the Hz. of the audio. Is this a feature of the software itself?

No, but I was thinking, if you go to the volume control, then click file and properties. You can click on the recording volumes, and I have two options, I can click Microphone or Stereo Mix. I am trying to think of way to mute the wave audio being played and make it go into the stereo mix somehow.
