Nice propagation on the 25m band. This is Voice of America in Korean to Korea from their Tinang, Philippines transmitter site. Meant for Koreans but propagating a long ways. Appears to be grey line DX. My location is in Oklahoma USA

Nice catch... I'll have to give it a shot.

Voice of America Tinang, PH site transmit power 250kw. It'll easily penetrate into USA and Canada. Easy catch. As long as it's azimuth is bearing 21 degrees north northeast. If it is pointed towards the southwest you might catch it's backscatter.

Oh yes, I always get it clear. No lines of the grey needed. I get it a lot during USA evenings too. Though normally I listening to BBC relayed from that site, sometimes english too. Low frequency directional antennas have lot's of spilloff due to the nature of the frequencies. Pretty much everyscatter. When it comes to broadcast receptions I find the locations make more of a differences than the antenna headings too, though it is nice to be in the direct beam path.
