At 02:40 UTC (7:40 PM local) the Voice of Greece on 9420 kHz is finally starting to come in strong enough here for me to hear some of the music. There's lots of fading, of course, but maybe the signal will get a little stronger later in the evening. They're scheduled to be on the air until 05:00 UTC. The announcements can't be made out, but then they're in Greek, so I wouldn't understand them, anyway.

I am also hearing the Voice of Greece here in New Zealand most evenings. Don't remember the frequency but will make a note of it next time.
They appear to have just that one frequency of 9420. Oddly enough, they only broadcast in English once a day at 1200 UTC, and for only 5 minutes. That's probably just a news bulletin, which I always miss, because. I'm fast asleep in this part of the world.

00:10 UTC coming in strong to Reno, Nevada, 9420
They're very weak here at about the same time UTC, but my location, high noise level and indoor antenna (I'm an apartment dweller) have a lot to do with that. They get stronger after sundown, though.

Heard them earlier this evening on 9420 khz around 0300-0400 or so at S3 and a grainy S4 on my Grundig G2. A bit stronger than usual. Most nights I hear them very weak and grainy, mostly unreadable. So conditions are up a bit for the summer it seems.

S3 here in central California with a bit of QSB (fading) at 2323 UTC 8/3. Additionally, my antenna is not favoring that direction.

S8 at 0106z. VoG is usually the strongest signal from Europe here. RRI used to be the go-to for SWL from that area for me, however it seems that their signal is not as strong as it used to be. Could just be the bands. I am pleasantly surprised by Voice of Greece's signal in the afternoons and evenings.

I rarely hear the European stations, but VoG is coming in very strong this evening at 3:45 UTC. The QSB is pretty severe, since the signal follows the polar path to me. However, I can still follow the melodies of the music.

I'm using my Sangean ATS-909X portable on battery power, with just the whip antenna, and inside my apartment, at that. Usually I use the AC adapter, but running on battery power significantly reduces the RFI.

S9+10dB at 1620 local/0420UTC! Just like a local AM BC band station after dark! Some quick fades but the AGC on my NRD515 keeps pace with them if I switch it 'fast'. The "Gray Line" has just gone through Greece and is about to arrive here. After listening to all that Greek music I feel like breaking out the bottle of retsina and smashing a few plates!

Fast AGC on my R75 doesn't accomplish much, but the signal does get strong enough for me to mentally skip over the fades, if you know what I mean. What I can't mentally skip over is the occasional switching off and on of the R75. It's completely random; it will work without a glitch sometimes for hours, and sometimes an entire day, but when it's in one of its moods it will rapidly switch off and right back on again when I least expect it, and can do that every five minutes or so. No great loss, as it stays on frequency, and the interruption is only a split second, but it's another reason to make a guy feel like smashing a few plates! :) That's why I've been using my portable more often.

I've never tried retsina. When I was traveling by train across Germany back in 1970 there were a couple of Greeks sharing my compartment. They could speak neither English nor German, and I couldn't speak Greek, but they were partying and kept offering me ouzo, which I declined. Hopefully they weren't offended, but I'm a non-drinker.

Just found this old QSL card from the VoG among my papers. I believe the receiver I heard them on back then (in 1980) was my Radio Shack DX-300 (terrible receiver). This was with a random-wire antenna inside an apartment building in the Vancouver area.

Tonight between 03:45 and 04:15 I heard VoG's music more clearly, and I managed to minimize some of the effects of the severe rapid fading from the Arctic path by switching to my ATS-909X's narrow AM filter and detuning the frequency to 9422 kHz. I'm not sure what the width of the narrow filter is, and normally don't use it, as it muddies up the audio, but in this case it helped a lot.
