Does anyone know the VOL network frequencies? I was at the game last night and on the commercial radio station (104.5) there was a 5-6 second delay.

Most often such broadcasts out of the immediate area are satellite or internet based. They occasionally use frequecies to get audio to the van where it is uplinked, therein your slight delay. Add to that a slight delay to allow bleeping if an inappropriate phrase gets out......

I was looking for the freqs for the wireless mics or whatever they use to get "back to the truck". I plan on going to some road games next year and want to hear them.

Try doing a search at the event on 450Mhz, 455Mhz, and the area of 161.640-161.760.I found the CBS Audio of The Indianapolis Colts game going back to New York with all the people behind the scenes telling the camera guys when they were coming to them along with when they were going to a comerical and then they had a count down in seconds when they were coming back from New York to Indianapolis.I found CBS on 450.6375 on 11/14/2010 while I was in the area of the Lucus Oil Stadium attending another event.Hope this helps,Very Best Reguards,Tim DeLong W9NES GMRS KAF3207/*Monitoring Metro Indianapolis/Marion County along with Central Indiana and The World from *The Northwest Communications Center*

We use a low power FM "stadiumcast" on away games that has no delay. We will publicize the frequency of the "stadiumcast' on the coach's shows the week before the game. WIVK-FM (107.7) is alway live at home games during the actual game broadcast. The "Sports Animal" (AM 990, FM 99.1 and 99.3) is delayed to match the television broadcasts, as is WIVK on away games. That's the same reason that 104.5 in Nashville was delayed. Our "stadiumcast" at the Music City Bowl was 94.9. We do not use any RF for production on the RPU bands as mentioned below.
