I just noticed that decimal 0913, Port Orange PD Dispatch ch1 is now on system A and B. Anyone know if the whole city now on both? And does anyone else noticed any other changes?
I noticed that for Edgewater PD Dispatch 1 was on the B system last week (normally only on A). It was only there for a day, so I figured they temporarily patched it for some reason. I know that they are starting to change for rebanding but that only effects the national mutual aid freqs, not the system freqs.
I guess you have not taken the opportunity to learn what rebanding is about.
It is not only the NPSPAC 866 channels, it is ALL of the use of 866-868 freqs. by any radio system.
All of the trunked users on 866-868 freqs. will shift down 15 mhz. Single/two channel freqs. are sometimes being moved to clear freqs. in the 851-853 area.
All use of 866-868 freqs. for two way radio as we know it will be moved out of that area.
Does anyone know what the deal is with all the TGs labeled "Patch"? I have heard a lot of PD traffic on them.
I understand that. The Volusia County systems don't have any frequencies that operate in the area that will be rebanded. They are reprogramming/replacing radios so that they can program in the new NPSPAC frequencies. From what I've been told, if it weren't for those the Volusia systems wouldn't be effected.
They would not be replacing radios to change the NPSPAC channels only. 866.0125 becomes 851.0125 etc for the rest.
They did create a new FL. statewide mutual aid channel.
