Volume/Squelch Pot for PSR-500

Hi all,

After moving house while back, I have finally gotten around to unpacking all my junk, which includes a few radios that I forgot I had.

Sadly my PSR500 has a bent shaft on the Volume/Squelch knob which is preventing me from using it - does anyone know where to source spare parts for these? I believe the PSR500 went out of production before Whistler acquired them, so I am not sure where to go for spares - also being located in Australia makes things slightly harder..

Can someone point me in the right direction? I will contact Whistler to see if they offer any support as well..

I believe it may be the identical part as used in the Whistler WS1040 scanner so hopefully Whistler can lend some assistance.

Whistler gave me the less than helpful reply of "we don't support GRE scanners"..

Have you looked at the case of the control, which might have a part number on it?
