Volume Suggestions

So here's a new one for me...Seems I can decode DMR no problem at certain volume levels, but not P25 and vice-versa.

Does anyone have a suggestion for both P25 and DMR volume levels??

I'm assuming you are talking about the amplitude of the raw audio into the decoding program that recovers the audio for hearing.

In that case switching from one mode to another indicates different frequencies and all the other parameters to tweak. My experience has been that one setting does not fit all. I try to minimize the differences, but sometimes the sites you are listening to are just to different and some knob twisting is needed.

I do not need the "radio police" that will ultimately show up because of this post.

In this instance, I am switching from a DMR Repeater, to P25 Simplex. P25 Simplex WILL NOT decode in DSD+ unless I am in SECURE mode. When I am talking "in the clear" nothing shows. When I am talking "in SECURE mode" it shows up in DSD+.
