I've been monitoring VC FIRE radio traffic since the consolidation began on 10-1 and I have been able to verify a lot of the TGs in use. But not all of them.
It seems that TAC channels 14 & below are used mostly for Eastside calls and TAC channels 16 and above mostly for Westside calls, but not always. I have not heard traffic on TAC 15 but assume it is still designated for Fire Police.
FIRE 1 is East side Dispatch and FIRE 2 is West side Dispatch and TG ID is correct in RR database. The old FIRE 3 and FIRE 4 have not been heard
TG for TAC-3 thru 15 are as listed in RR database for VC Fire/EMS
TG for TAC 21-24 are as listed in RR database for Deltona and now used by VC FIRE
TG for TAC 26-30 are as listed in RR database for Deland and now used by VC FIRE
TG for TAC 16 & 17 are the old RCC TAC 16 & 17 as listed un RR database and now used by VC FIRE

I have heard TAC 18 & TAC 19 assigned to calls but have not been able to find either of them on the air.
Do any of you know the TG ID for TAC 18 and/or TAC 19?

I have not heard any calls assigned to TAC 20 or TAC 25, and do not know if there even are these TAC channels. Does anyone know if they exist and what their TG ID is?

Does anyone know of any other FIRE (not EVAC/EMS) TGs that should be included?

When all VC FIRE TGs have been identified I would like to see the various city TG databases revised to remove "old" fire TACs. The only 'fire" TGs left in a city list should be city specific talkaround TGs. The old RCC TGs should be entirely removed at the same time

I don't monitor fire traffic but I do believe the 02 prefixed tgids are fire related. I have some mp3 recordings of the the 02 traffic if you're interested in downloading it and reviewing it. Hit me with a pm if you want them.

Just because you don't hear activity on a TG doesn't mean it is no longer in use. Sometimes a TG you thought was inactive will suddenly come to life. Please don't submit info to the database unless you are 100 percent sure of the information.

Instead of asking for a more or less permanent change in the database (it's not, really, but it requires the administrator to make the change), what do you guys think about editing the talkgroup list in the Wiki when something gets confirmed? Then it could be sent to the database administrator.
