VR120D gone deaf

I have a VR 120D, unlocked and no mods. I used the radio after about three months and added fress batteries. Now it does not hear anything, not even the WFM channels. I have tried both Hard and Soft resets and a few antennas. Any ideas, what could be wrong and how I could fix it.

Can you hear 162.55 -- or whatever your local weather VHF broadcast is..? If not -- is the Squelch setting up too high?

If that doesn't resolve it -- call Yaesu's service center immediately.
