VSP interference

Anybody else notice the interference going on today?

From FFX Co I could hear Richmond and Appamatox, but Fairfax would of course override them. But I did heard a trooper on CH4 complain about interference from Richmond and said he would just telephone dispatch.

From the Fredericksburg area (on 159.165), I'm always hearing some other dispatch besides Culpeper come in, it seems they even use the same PL ... and this is on my portable. Annoying!

There was tropospheric ducting that morning. There was a ham in York County PA coming into the Va. Beach 146.97 armchair copy. I was also copying repeaters from MD, NC and NJ. Nothing anyone but the propagation gods can do about that!
