I hear the dispatchers talking about "Channel will be on D108" or some other D### code, what is this code translating to?

I believe this is the Desk # that the dispatcher is currently working at. I think that they normally will announce this info when a trooper needs to send a message to dispatch. I think they need to have the Desk # radio ID to send a MDT message through the in car laptop.

Yes this is the terminal the dispatcher is sitting at.......... Normally Channel 1 is on D102
