VSP Derby is now transmitting primarily on 460.375. 453.900 and 460.150 are used infrequently, possibly due to the mobile units location.
One Saturday night in early July the dispatcher for ST Johnsbury was handling all of the VSP communications in Orange, Caledonia, Essex and Orleans while simulcasting over all of the frequencies. My guess is it was a quiet shift and a shortage of dispatchers. 460.375 provides a clearer and louder transmission than ST J's 460.300. I'm thinking 460.375 is being broadcasted on Burke Mountain as well as Jay Peak.

I'm fairly certain that 460.150 is now Jay Peak, 460.375 is Burke Mtn, and 453.900 is still Island Pond (this repeater doesn't have very wide coverage, it's only on top of the town hall in Brighton/IP). Two other possible Derby frequencies are 453.150 and 460.275; both are licensed (WRMI328) at Ben Young Hill in Clarksville, NH.

Heard a radio tech advise Derby the Ben Young Hill (Colebrook) 460.375 transmitter was back on line last week. Radio testing on 460.275 was active several weeks ago and was loud and clear, but I couldn't tell which barrack's dispatcher was involved.4

Last week I heard the radio check for 460.375. Tech asked disp to take Mt Snow offline, then did the test on 375, so thinking this is coming from Mt Snow. 375, 3375, and 150 all come in clear on analog in central VT. Can barely hear any others though.

460.3375 is Readsboro. 460.375 is Mt Equinox. 460.150 is Killington.
There are two transmitters on Mt Snow; 460.275 and 453.300. They service the west and east sides of southern Vermont, respectively.
460.375 and 460.275 both service the Shaftsbury area. So it makes sense they would take one down for service and do a check on the other.

Just caught 460.450 P25 of 775h crystal clear in central VT. Appears to be RCSD in addition to their analog freq of 460.450 PL 127.3,
775h of course matches the Rutland County Sheriff's phone number. (802) 775-8000

Please remember to submit this to be put into the DB.

Was far away from the speaker, but sounds like car 74 said "testing new vehicle repeater system" on 460.3375 151.4pl. I wonder if they've had enough of terrible reception unless you are at the barracks? :D
