Hey Guys :) ,
I'm trying to find the frequency and PL/DPL/Nac for VTac 36. I guess it's a pretty new freq. By chace does anyone know what it is? Also, how is coverage, etc?

Thanks

VTac36 in NH is strictly a portable repeater setup. Its only setup as needed for events or incidents by the COML or Comms folks assigned. There are portable repeaters around the state ready to deploy. The coverage varies depending where its setup.

There is actually one fixed VTAC36 repeater located on the summit of Cannon Mountain to assist with communication from one end of Franconia Notch to the other for interoperability between PD/Fire/Parks for incidents there. It is controlled by Grafton County and DOS State Police via console TRC. Default state is "repeater disable" and it is easily enabled by either agency when requested.

There is also another planned deployment for a fixed station in the Manchester area..........but it's in progress.

Yeah...What Josh said.

Josh, any concern, at least with Manchester if a deployable repeater is ordered in an area that might be picked up by Manchester? Or might it be "IN" Manchester minimizing the chances?

The Manchester repeater, if installed, will also be remotely controlled by NHSP dispatch and radio maintenance so it will be in a "non-repeat" state unless requested to be operational for an incident or event, which would go through the SWIC office for deconfliction.

It would be a resource in the area for any department that is in range and could use it with a simple phone call.
