Not sure if this is the correct forum but I have q question regarding the VTAC channels listed in the DB. I am adding channels into BC125AT SS the Uniden software for the BC125AT which requires you to enter each frequency and info individually. While entering the VTAC channels the software alerted on a duplicate frequency 158.73750 listed for VTAC13 and VTAC34 with the same PL of 156.7 . Is there something I am missing here? I find a lot of frequencies that are duplicates but use a different PL Tone for each channel.

No, you are not missing anything.
VTAC13 is a simplex channel.
VTAC34 is a paired channel designed for repeater use.

The 158.7375 is the simplex channel when used as VTAC13
158.7375 is the repeater OUTPUT channel when used as VTAC34. 154.4525 is the repeater INPUT frequency.

Default, you should be using carrier squelch for both. Yeah, 156.7 is used on TX, but since that can vary from place to place, using CSQ is a good idea.

And this is how it looks in the NIFOG (National Interop Field Guide)

Description - Channel Name - Mobile Receive Freq. - Mobile Receive CTCSS Tone - Mobile Transmit Freq. - Mobile Transmit CTCSS Tone
Tactical VTAC13 158.7375 156.7 (5A) 158.7375 156.7 (5A)
Tac Rpt VTAC34 * • 158.7375 156.7 (5A) 154.4525 136.5 (4Z)

When putting the above in a radio/scanner for Receive only, I'll load them in as VTAC13/34.
